Duration

Full Day

Tour Highlights

Working Tea Factory Guided Tour

A detailed walkthrough of the complete tea production process – withering, rolling, oxidising, firing and grading – followed by a curated tasting session with the estate’s own single-origin Ceylon teas.

Tea Estate Walk Among the Bushes

A guided walk through the estate rows with the opportunity to try hand-plucking alongside a worker, understanding the daily rhythm and extraordinary physical skill of a working highland plantation.

Ramboda Falls Viewpoint

A 109-metre waterfall visible from the mountain road on the approach to Nuwara Eliya, with a viewing platform above the valley – a scenic counterpoint to the estate landscapes on either side.

Gregory Lake, Nuwara Eliya

A scenic reservoir at the centre of Sri Lanka’s most elevated town, with a lakeside promenade and views across the surrounding tea estate hills in the cool, frequently misty highland air.

Nuwara Eliya Colonial Town

A racecourse, an Edwardian post office, mock-Tudor guesthouses and a highland market selling strawberries and handwoven textiles – a colonial hill-station character found nowhere else on the island.
