Madu River Mangrove Safari 

A small-boat journey through 915 hectares of interconnected lagoon waterways, cinnamon island channels and mangrove corridors alive with kingfishers and waterbirds.

Bentota River Water Sports 

Jet skiing, banana boat rides, wakeboarding and windsurfing on the broad calm waters of the Bentota River estuary – accessible, exhilarating and excellent value for all experience levels.

Bentota Beach Afternoon 

One of the finest stretches of sand on the south-western coast, wide and backed by coconut palms, with warm swimmable water during the November to April dry season on the west coast.

Brief Garden (Optional) 

The extraordinary private tropical garden created by landscape artist Bevis Bawa – 4 acres of intensely planted terraces, sculptures and follies designed over 40 years and maintained to this day.

Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery (Optional) 

A sea turtle conservation and hatchery operation a short drive north, where five species of sea turtle are protected and hatchlings are released into the ocean throughout the year.
